This fruit salad with yogurt consists of a wide variety of summer fruits. Honey and vanilla give it a delicate aroma. It only takes around 20 minutes to prepare this refreshing and healthy yogurt fruit salad. You can use a variety of seasonal fruits. You can find a detailed recipe with the exact quantities and step-by-step instructions below.
Choose seasonal fruit
The tastiest fruit salad with yogurt is made with seasonal fruit. This is because they are particularly fresh, sweet and aromatic. It’s similar with the Pavlova cake, the berry iced tea and the fresh kompot.
I prepared the yogurt fruit salad in summer. I use strawberries, raspberries, apricots, white grapes, blackcurrants, peaches and nectarines.
In the fall, plums are also very suitable. You can also mix pears and apples into the fruit salad.
Vegan fruit salad with yogurt
If you want to make this fruit salad vegan, use a plant-based yogurt alternative for the recipe. For example, you can use soy yogurt, just like for the vegan tarator.
You can then replace honey with maple syrup or agave syrup. Alternatively, you can completely dispense with an additional sweetener.
Healthy and versatile to enjoy
The homemade yogurt fruit salad contains lots of vitamins and is healthy, just like my winter fruit salad or tropical fruit salad. It is best enjoyed fresh, straight after preparation.
You can serve the fruit salad with yogurt for breakfast, just like the tvorog or ryazhenka. It is also perfect for dessert after a meal. It is ideal as a snack between meals too, alongside the jam oatmeal bars, vegetable chips and fruit bars.
