Homemade plant-based milk instead of store-bought

There is now a large selection of plant-based milk alternatives in supermarkets. Nevertheless, you should still make it at home, just like the lemonade and the iced tea.

Because homemade plant-based milk tastes much better than store-bought milk. You can refine it according to your preferences with different ingredients, such as spices or sweeteners.

You also determine the consistency of your milk alternative when you make it yourself. If you like it very creamy, use less water. If you don’t want it to be too thick, dilute it with more water.

In addition, vegan milk alternatives from the supermarket often contain undesirable additives such as emulsifiers or stabilizers. You can avoid them by making your own milk alternative. Then you know exactly what ingredients are in it.

And finally, it is very easy to make plant milk at home. Similar to the fruit salads, it is fairly quick to prepare. You just need to allow plenty of time to soak the base ingredient for some varieties.
