Stuffed flatbread with cheese and potatoes in pan
Ingredients
for the dough
- 110 ml milk
- 20 g butter (melted)
- 180 g flour
- 1/3 tsp salt
for the filling
- 120 g grated mozzarella
- 150 g potatoes (peeled)
- 25 g mayonnaise
- salt
- pepper
for frying
- some butter
Instructions
Making the filling
- Boil potatoes and mash them.
- Mix the mashed potatoes with mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper.
Making the dough
- Put flour, melted butter, milk and salt in a mixing bowl, knead it into a firm dough and then knead the dough for about 5 minutes so that it becomes elastic. Refrigerate the dough, wrapped in an airtight container, for about 30 minutes.
Making the flatbread
- Divide the dough into two equal pieces and roll each piece into a circle about 3 mm thick.
- In the center of each dough circle, spread first grated mozzarella, then the mashed potatoes, and then more mozzarella.
- Tape the edge of each dough circle together so that you have one filled dough ball each, and roll each dough ball back out into a patty about 1 cm thick.
