Place farmer’s cheese, soft butter, sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a small saucepan and blend everything with a hand blender to a homogeneous mixture.
Pour some water into a larger saucepan, bring to a boil and turn the heat down to low so that the water simmers gently.
Hang the smaller saucepan with the chocolate farmer’s cheese mixture over the large saucepan of simmering water so that the bottom of the small saucepan does not touch the water.
Heat the chocolate farmer’s cheese mixture over the water bath (the water should continue to simmer) for approx. 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until the farmer’s cheese has melted and a smooth, liquid chocolate mixture has formed.
Pour the hot chocolate processed cheese spread through a fine sieve to remove any remaining farmer’s cheese grains.
Pour the chocolate processed cheese spread into screw-top jars, seal and leave to cool.
Chill the chocolate processed cheese spread for a few hours until it sets.
