Apricot rosemary lemonade

Sweet, aromatic, fresh apricots and fragrant, spicy rosemary are combined in the soda. This creates a particularly tempting refreshment for hot summer days that is hard to resist. With this recipe you can make the apricot rosemary lemonade at home.

Ingredients

  • 500 g pitted fresh apricots
  • 3 sprigs rosemary fresh, medium size
  • 100 g sugar**
  • 200 ml tap water
  • juice of 1 lime freshly squeezed
  • 800 ml sparkling water

  • rosemary sprigs
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Put sugar and 200 ml of water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring so that the sugar dissolves before the syrup boils.
  • Add rosemary sprigs to the sugar syrup, simmer for 1 - 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Let the rosemary syrup cool.
  • Put apricots and lime juice in a blender and puree it finely.
  • Pour the apricot mixture through a sieve into a water carafe.
  • Pour the rosemary syrup through a sieve to the apricot juice in the water carafe.
  • Pour it with sparkling water and stir.
  • Serve the apricot lemonade with ice cubes and rosemary sprigs.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet apricots for the recipe.
  • You can adjust the amount of lime juice to taste.
  • You can make the apricot soda with non-carbonated mineral water or with tap water. I use sparkling water that comes fresh from the sparkling water maker**.
