Fruit juices, red wine, black tea, rum and spices are combined in this delicious Christmas Punch. This makes it an ideal drink for the festive season. The Christmas Punch tastes incredibly fruity, spicy, sweet and warms you up from the inside in winter. You can easily make it at home with ordinary ingredients using the recipe.

Ingredients
500mlred winevegan
250mlfreshly brewed black tea
200mlorange juicefreshly squeezed
150mlcranberry juice
juice of 1 limefreshly squeezed
100gsugar
zest of 1 organic orange
zest of 1 organic lime
1sprig ofrosemaryfresh
1small piece ofgingerfresh
1vanilla pod
1cinnamon stick
1piecesstar anise
7cloves
100mlbrown rum
to serve (optional)

organic lime slices
cranberries
sprigs of rosemary
cinnamon sticks
star anise
Instructions
Pour red wine into a saucepan, add orange zest, lime zest, rosemary sprig, thinly sliced ginger, vanilla pod, cinnamon stick, star anise and cloves and heat (do not boil!).
Dissolve sugar in the hot red wine and leave to infuse on the hot stove for 30 minutes with the lid on.
Add black tea, orange juice, cranberry juice and lime juice, stir, reheat (do not boil!) and leave to infuse covered for a further 30 minutes.
Pour the mixture through a sieve, stir in rum and serve the Christmas Punch. You can reheat it briefly before serving if necessary.
Notes
Use Christmas spices and herbs of your choice.
It is best to use freshly squeezed fruit juices or ready-made 100% direct juices. You can use other juices instead of orange, cranberry and lime juice.
You can adjust the amount of sugar to taste.
You can strain the Punch into sealable glass bottles, leave to cool and store in the fridge for a few days. Then reheat it before serving.
The Punch also tastes delicious cold, served on ice cubes. To do this, leave it to cool down at room temperature beforehand and put it in the fridge for a few hours.
