Mango lemonade with basil (sugar free)

The mango basil soda tastes, smells and looks like summer. It is fruity, fresh and aromatic. With this recipe you can make the mango lemonade easily, quickly, with few ingredients and sugar free.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice or to taste
  • 600 ml sparkling water

  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Peel mango and cut the pulp from the stone.
  • Cut the pulp into coarse pieces and put them in a blender.
  • Add basil leaves and lemon juice.
  • Puree the mango pieces with basil to a homogeneous mass.
  • Pour the mango mix into a water carafe and dilute it with sparkling water.
  • Serve the mango lemonade with fresh basil leaves and ice cubes.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of basil to taste.
  • If you like the lemonade more tart, add more lemon juice.
  • You can use lime juice instead of lemon juice.
  • If you like the lemonade thinner, add a larger portion of mineral water to the mango mix.
  • You can also make the drink with non-carbonated mineral water. I use sparkling water from my sparkling water maker** for this.
