Strawberry kiwi dessert cups
Sweet sour, fresh fruits meet delicate cream mascarpone frosting with bananas. The combination tastes fruity, smooth and refreshing. These strawberry kiwi dessert cups are quick to prepare with the recipe and ideal on warm summer days.

350 g strawberries 3 kiwis 2 bananas very ripe 3 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed 100 g mascarpone cheese cold 150 g cream cold
Cut strawberries into large pieces, put them in a blender and puree them.
Peel kiwis, cut them into large pieces, put them in a blender and puree them too.
Peel and puree bananas together with lemon juice.
Add mascarpone cheese to the bananas and mix to a homogeneous mass.
Whip cream until stiff and fold it into the mascarpone banana mixture.
Fill the dessert cups about half full with the banana cream mixture. Spread the pureed kiwis over the cream and top with the pureed strawberries.
Chill the strawberry kiwi dessert for approx. 30 minutes and then serve.
Use sweet, ripe strawberries and kiwis for the layered dessert cups.
Only very ripe bananas are suitable for the recipe.
If you like the dessert sweeter, you can add a little powdered sugar to the cream mascarpone frosting, strawberry and kiwi puree.
You can top with chopped nuts, chocolate or cookies.
The layered dessert tastes best on the day of preparation. You should eat it the next day at the latest.
