Mint ice cream with fresh mint

The mint chocolate chip ice cream is made with fresh peppermint and incredibly aromatic. It contains no egg and no dyes, just like my strawberry yogurt ice cream. Chocolate chips perfectly complement its flavor. To make the peppermint ice cream yourself, you only need four ingredients. Also, with this recipe you can make the mint ice cream without an ice cream maker.

  • Chop dark chocolate coarsely.
  • Put peppermint leaves and sweetened condensed milk in a blender and puree to a homogeneous green mass.
  • Whip cream until stiff.
  • Carefully stir the peppermint mixture into the whipped cream.
  • Briefly stir in the coarsely chopped chocolate of the peppermint cream mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a freezer container and place in the freezer for about 5 hours until the ice cream is firm.
  • Remove the mint ice cream from the freezer about 10 minutes before serving and let it stand at room temperature.

Notes

  • Instead of chopping chocolate yourself, you can use chocolate drops.
  • The peppermint ice cream tastes delicious even without chocolate chips.
