Enjoy fruit salad in winter

You can also make and enjoy a fruity fruit salad in winter. It provides you with lots of vitamins during the cold season.

Use winter fruits for the recipe. Citrus fruits are ideal for this. Incidentally, I made the edible cookie dough with orange.

Cinnamon was also a must in my winter fruit salad. It gives it a special aroma and flavor. Also try my mandarin jam with cinnamon and walnuts, the sharlotka with cinnamon and walnuts and the apple bundt cake with cinnamon.

Particularly aromatic with cinnamon

Cinnamon makes this fruit salad even more wintery and provides a spicy aroma. It combines perfectly with oranges, mandarins, apples and other fruits. However, you can also make the winter citrus salad without cinnamon if you don’t like it.

How to modify fruit salad recipe for winter?

You can modify this fruit salad recipe to suit your taste in terms of fruit, similar to my recipe for dessert in glass with fruits and ladyfingers. Simply use fruits that you have at home in winter.

For example, if you don’t like pears, leave them out. Add kiwi or grapefruit to the fruit salad. Grapes also go very well with it.

Spice it up with dried fruits and nuts

You can give your winter citrus salad a unique flavor with various dried fruits and nuts.

Refine it with raisins, for example. They spice up the fruit salad and add sweetness.

Nuts give it a crunchy note, just like the apple caramel dessert cups. For example, add roasted walnuts to the winter fruit salad.
